California Government Code section 4216.6 c & d calls for operators and excavators to provide information about “facility events” using the California Regional Common Ground Alliance Virtual Private Damage Information Reporting Tool. Facility events are excavator downtime, damages, near misses and violations. Each calendar year’s facility events must be reported by March 31 of the following year.
Reporting is accomplished by inputting your data in a web-based form or electronic data exchange using xml or an automated data loader.
Begin reporting your facility events today. It’s part of the law!
