About Colorado 811
Underground Facility Damage Reporting Specification passed state law May 23, 2000 requires the reporting of damages by all owners and operators of underground facilities. The Utility Notification Center of Colorado (UNCC) has established this software application to accommodate this requirement. The reporting requirement is defined in SB184 9-1.5- 102.
Reporting is accomplished by one of two methods electronic form (copy of form) or electronic data exchange using this Damage Reporting Application.

Annual DIRT Reports
CGA and its Data Reporting & Evaluation Committee uses the data submitted to DIRT to produce DIRT Annual Reports, on-line interactive dashboards, and supplemental reports and tools providing a comprehensive accounting and analysis of excavation-related damages (and near miss events) to buried infrastructure in the U.S. and Canada.
